Welcome to the SLA Princeton Trenton Chapter Wiki
Who we are
Special librarians from the Princeton-Trenton area of central New Jersey. We work in all types of libraries (corporate, academic, pharmaceutical, consulting, philanthropic, nonprofit, governmental and more...), and we encourage all members of SLA in this geographic area to become active in the Princeton-Trenton chapter.
What we do
Support networking and communication between SLA members in the Princeton-Trenton area and beyond. We host programs throughout the year. Keep an eye on this wiki for an up-to-date program schedule.

Description: Challenges abound for students in Masters of Library and Information Science programs these days. In addition to balancing the traditional values of librarianship along with learning about new technologies such as using social media for reference, they reflect on all aspects of working with and serving constituents. Hear about their thought-provoking projects from the students themselves. Graduate students from Rutgers' School of Communication, Information and Library Studies will speak about what intrigues them today. There will be ample time for questions and interaction with the students.
